We are looking for a Senior .Net Developer to join our team! Janus maintains a growing infrastructure of backend API services powering a suite of web and desktop applications. As we scale out, we are looking for a developer with a primary emphasis in C# desktop application development to serve as a full-stack resource on our Web Applications team. This person will have high autonomy over hardening our existing desktop application and its API interactions, as well as designing and creating new applications as we build out solutions to address future customer needs.
• Build, design, and maintain desktop applications.
• Understand APIs and relational databases.
• Create solutions for identified problems or bugs.
• Communicate with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders daily.
• Execute assignments with the use of scripts and programming languages such as C#.
• Develop and validate test routines to ensure the quality of desktop applications.
• Write clear and concise documentation of code and processes.
• Accomplish company goals by accepting ownership of new and different requests.
Requirements
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong communication skills
• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET framework
• Experience developing applications that interface with REST APIs
• Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting work and complex problems
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
In addition, these skills would be helpful:
• Experience building and distributing applications as MSIs
• Experience with APIs for screen capture and image manipulation
• Experience building development systems such as CI/CD and Test Automation; Jenkins specifically is a plus
• Experience using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript is a huge plus
• Experience with automation systems
• Experience with visual based automations
• Experience with Python, data engineering, and/or data science
